Meet the Therapist
About Amanda
A warm, experienced therapist who believes healing happens through grace, connection, and being truly seen.

Amanda Elliott, LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), State of Maine
MA in Counseling, Columbia International University · MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, Indiana Wesleyan University · Trained in CBT and trauma-informed care
I help adults struggling with anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Together, we’ll explore the experiences and patterns behind what you’re feeling, quiet the inner critic, and build practical tools for lasting change. My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and grounded in CBT — all with a focus on helping you feel grounded, confident, and more at peace in your own life.
I founded Willows of Grace Counseling because I believe therapy should feel deeply human — not clinical or transactional. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with genuine compassion and presence, creating a space where real transformation can happen.
As a Maine-based provider, I am honored to serve clients throughout the state through secure online telehealth sessions — bringing skilled, personal care directly to you.
A Little About Amanda
Faith, Connection & Joy
At the heart of who I am is my faith and my love for helping others experience the freedom, grace, and unconditional love found in Christ. I’m passionate about helping people move beyond simply knowing they are loved by God to truly experiencing that love—and discovering the freedom that comes from knowing who He created them to be.
Outside of my therapy work, I love spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, playing games, trying to solve escape rooms, and finding new adventures. I love to laugh and believe there is something deeply meaningful about making room for joy, connection, and fun along the way.
More than anything, I hope the people I encounter know that they are deeply loved, that grace is greater than shame, and that they don’t have to earn their worth. My hope is that you experience more fully the love of Christ and grow into the person God uniquely created you to be.

Questions About Working With Me
What are your credentials?
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maine, with training in CBT and trauma-informed care, held to the ethical and professional standards of my license.
What is your therapeutic approach?
My work is warm, practical, and trauma-informed, grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We look at patterns, thoughts, and experiences while building tools that fit your real life.
Do you only see Christian clients?
Not at all. Clients of all faith backgrounds — and no faith background — are welcome. Faith is integrated only if you want it.
What ages do you work with?
I work with adults 18 and older through individual online therapy in Maine.
Why online therapy?
Telehealth removes the commute, makes scheduling easier, and lets you meet from a space where you already feel safe — while still receiving personalized, professional care.
What does trauma-informed mean?
It means I recognize how past experiences shape present responses, move at your pace, and prioritize safety, choice, and collaboration in every session.
How is faith integrated?
For clients who want it, Scripture and Christian values can gently shape our conversations alongside clinical tools. It is always respectful and never imposed.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations when possible. Late cancellations may be charged the full session fee.
How do I know if you're the right therapist?
The best way is to schedule a free consultation. Fit matters, and you deserve a therapist you feel comfortable with.
Where are you located?
Willows of Grace is based in Maine, and all therapy sessions are conducted online for adults located anywhere in the state.
