Christian Counseling
Faith and Mental Health, Held Together
Faith integration is always your choice. If your Christian faith is an important part of your life and healing, we can thoughtfully weave it into our work together as much or as little as feels right for you. Faith can be part of every session, explored when it naturally comes up, or left out entirely. You are always welcome here, wherever you are in your faith journey.
What Faith-Integrated Therapy Actually Looks Like
You Set the Pace
Faith integration is always your choice. We can weave it through every session, touch on it occasionally, or leave it out entirely.
Scripture Alongside Evidence
Biblical truth sits beside CBT, trauma-informed care, and other proven clinical approaches — not in place of them.
Grace Over Shame
We gently untangle the places where shame has been mistaken for conviction, and let grace do what shame never could.
Identity & God-Given Worth
We explore who you are as someone deeply loved by Christ, apart from performance, roles, or the approval of others.
Honest Questions Welcome
Doubt, church hurt, and hard seasons of faith are safe to bring into this room without judgment.
Therapy and Faith Are Not at Odds
Many people quietly wonder whether needing help means their faith is failing. It does not. Caring for your mind is part of caring for the whole person God made. In our work together, clinical skill and spiritual truth support each other — helping you find rest you do not have to earn and worth you do not have to prove.

Questions About Faith-Integrated Care
What is Christian counseling?
Christian counseling weaves Biblical truth and Christian values into evidence-based therapy for clients who want their faith to be part of the healing process.
Is faith required?
No. Faith integration is always your choice. You are welcome whether you want faith central, occasional, or not part of our work at all.
How is Scripture used?
Scripture is brought in gently and only when it supports your goals — often as a source of truth, comfort, identity, and hope alongside clinical tools.
Will you pray with me?
Some clients want prayer in session; others do not. I am glad to pray when invited, and equally respectful if you prefer not to.
Can I come if I have doubts?
Absolutely. Doubt, church hurt, spiritual burnout, and hard questions are safe to bring here without judgment.
How does faith fit with CBT?
CBT addresses thoughts and behaviors; faith speaks to identity, worth, and hope. Together they support whole-person healing without replacing either one.
What if I've been hurt by the church?
That pain is real and welcome here. We can explore it at your pace, with care for both your heart and your faith journey.
Is this biblical counseling or clinical therapy?
It is clinical therapy offered by a licensed counselor, with faith integrated respectfully when desired. Evidence-based care remains the foundation.
Can we discuss specific sins or struggles?
Yes. You can bring anything into the room — shame loses power when it is named with grace, truth, and compassion.
Will my faith be judged?
Never. This is a place of grace, not judgment. Your beliefs, questions, and journey are honored here.
